I liked the book because Moose Flanagan lives on Alcatraz island and his dad works at the famous prison there. But Moose don't like his school and he wants to move back to his home town with his old friends. Moose don't like any of the kids at his new school so he just ignores everyone and tries to be quiet. Then finally one day in the middle of the year Moose meets a new friend from his old school and they are aways messing around in the bathroom and in class. Then he has a conference with his Mom and teachers and saying he was good but then he turned around into falling behind. I finished reading the book and I thought it was the best one of the series of the books.
I think some of the conflicts in this book are man vs self because he has to face being alone with no friends in the school and trying really hard in school to get things done and be a good kid. Also because Moose has to live where he doesn't want to and his mom and dad don't want to move back where they lived before because his dad got a better job. Another conflict in this book is man vs man because when his old friend comes to where he is and they fool around a lot. I think the theme in the "book is don't judge a book by its cover".
I'm glad you thought about theme! Next time, go a little farther and explain how you came to that theme. Give some evidence to back up your thoughts.
